- Know your GDAs (guideline daily amounts): make sure you know what you’re eating and the contents of your food. The labels on packaging are there for a reason; if you’re in the know you have no excuse
- Exercise: your body needs exercising. Not only will you have fewer health problems in the future, but you’ll look and feel much better. After meals, walk around the room or up and down the stairs a few times
